New aluminium screens to the secondary staircase were also introduced along with main entrance and flat doors, ramp & handrails, door entry system, electrical installation associated with the landlords services, upgrading refuse hoppers and redecoration of internal communal areas. |

The Brunswick Centre was built in the 1960s and is Grade II listed iconic building.
Diamond Build carried out works to two blocks of flats, built up of 394 units. Renewal of glazed roofs to ‘winter gardens’ took place. The private balconies were recovered, along with the installation of new rainwater goods. There were various repairs to the windows and doors, minor repairs and redecoration were completed as part of Brunswick Centre’s £24m facelift.

The Enfield decent homes scheme enabled Diamond Build to fulfil the terms of 3 contracts, concluding with refurbishment works on 344 properties in
total.
Works included the replacement of kitchen and bathroom fittings (including level access showers), central heating systems, electrical wiring, associated decorations, render and brick repairs. A forth contract was negotiated involving flat roof renewals.

This project involved the removal of all existing roof coverings back to the concrete slab and the installation of a Langley roofing system. Additional work involved the replacement of roof access hatches and renewal of rainwater goods.
We also performed concrete repairs and remedial works to tank room doors & frames along with the installation of a handrail system to allow safe access to the plant rooms.

Newlon Housing Trust appointed Diamond build on two occasions to carry out refurbishments as well as other works in Linwood Crescent. The projects were carried out in two phases:
Phase 1 - Internal refurbishment of a residential home, including fire precaution works, new kitchens and bathrooms were installed with specialist features for the disabled and internal redecoration.
Phase 2 - Conversion of an existing house into 4 flats, with the ground floor completely adapted for wheelchair users, and the upper floor for the mentally disabled. |
