This four year Measured Term Contract with South Essex Homes began in 2007 and is an ongoing scheme. The works stipulates the refurbishment for high level (roofing) works to various addresses within the borough of Southend-on-Sea with residents in occupation. Diamond Build work for Southern Housing Group on a contract to produce well planned affordable accommodation. Our works include electrical upgrades, kitchen and bathroom replacement, solar water heating units, window replacement and external structural repairs to various properties in the Essex, Kent and Sussex areas.

The refurbishment works took place to 134 occupied properties in Charing Cross Road WC2, Greek Street W1, and William Road NW1 and included external redecoration, internal communal areas' redecoration, maintenance works, window overhaul, 25 kitchen replacements, concrete repairs and new floor finishes.

The refurbishment works at Bourne Estate, a 1920s brick built estate of 16 blocks of Grade II Listed 3 storey flats in a conservation area with a contract period of 60 weeks. The works on the ninety year old building include the replacement of estate's roads, upgrading, drainage, asphalting and replacement tiling to communal staircases.

Diamond Builds refurbishment works has seen Portland Place benefit with replacement kitchens, bathrooms and windows, cavity wall insulation, associated repairs and internal and external decorations to 48 occupied sheltered housing properties.

The refurbishment works to a six storey block of flats (30 properties) included the renewal of a permanent lift, and the installation of a temporary lift and removal on completion of the works. New aluminium screens to the secondary staircase were also introduced along with main entrance and flat doors, ramp & handrails, door entry system, electrical installation associated with the landlords services, upgrading refuse hoppers and redecoration of internal communal areas.

The Brunswick Centre was built in the 1960s and is Grade II listed iconic building.

The Enfield decent homes scheme enabled Diamond Build to fulfil the terms of 3 contracts, concluding with refurbishment works on 344 properties in total.

Works included the replacement of kitchen and bathroom fittings (including level access showers), central heating systems, electrical wiring, associated decorations, render and brick repairs. A forth contract was negotiated involving flat roof renewals.

This project involved the removal of all existing roof coverings back to the concrete slab and the installation of a Langley roofing system. Additional work involved the replacement of roof access hatches and renewal of rainwater goods.

Newlon Housing Trust appointed Diamond build on two occasions to carry out refurbishments as well as other works in Linwood Crescent. The projects were carried out in two phases:

Phase 1 - Internal refurbishment of a residential home, including fire precaution works, new kitchens and bathrooms were installed with specialist features for the disabled and internal redecoration.

This contract required external repairs and full redecoration as part of the Clients' 2008/2009 cyclical & planned works. Diamond Build carried out the works on 28 flats while they were under occupation.

Repairs and refurbishment to Ethelburga Tower, a 13 storey block of flats, were completed with residents in occupation.

Works involved localised repairs primarily to exterior concrete cladding panels and all other surfaces to the external facades and features of the building; Including decorations using approved specialist finishings. Repairs to and replacement of parts of the communal and residents’ windows.

This scheme required external enveloping works to various street properties. Diamond Build's input to the development of the properties included roof repair works, door and window replacement, external redecoration and boundary wall renewal to a number fo houses in the street.

York Rise Estate is located in a conservation area within the borough of Camden.

The works were divided into two phases:

Phase 1 – Consisted of the completion of various window replacements and external repairs to 5 blocks of 5 storey flats with the residents remaining in occupation.

Refurbishment works to 23 sheltered properties included the fitting of new kitchens and bathrooms along with electrical and mechanical works while the properties remained in occupation.

In the two storey block of flats, the installation of level access showers was involved in the refurbishment works to provide easier access for its occupants.

This contract required refurbishment works to forty-one properties in west London’s Wentworth court. The works to the properties included the replacement of kitchens and bathrooms, the electrical wiring in the premises and installation of extractor fans, window and balcony door renewal were amongst further works that took place in the building, as well as the redecorations to internal communal areas, drainage repairs and renewals.

Croston Street in East London saw the refurbishment of 5no unoccupied flats in a part occupied environment. The work in the flats included the fitting of new kitchens and bathrooms, a new central heating was put in place, re-wiring works were carried out, and new flooring was fitted throughout the flats and full redecoration works were completed. 3 properties were added during the contract which was initially for just 2 of properties.

This contract required the full refurbishment of 26 properties on Rosewood Square which included the renewal of kitchens and bathrooms anlong with windows and doors.
